Hey folks, I’ve been thinking about this AI stuff lately. It seems like Deepseek’s new release might be a bigger deal than we thought. Here’s why:
OpenAI had a solid plan with their pricing tiers and exclusive models. But now Deepseek comes along and shakes things up. They’re basically giving away what OpenAI was charging big bucks for.
This could mess up OpenAI’s strategy. Think about it:
- People might not pay for OpenAI’s expensive plans anymore
- Anyone with a decent computer can run Deepseek’s model for free
- OpenAI can’t easily stop Deepseek since it’s a Chinese company
It’s like when you have a secret recipe and someone spills the beans. Suddenly, your special sauce isn’t so special anymore.
What do you guys think? Is OpenAI in trouble? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing? Let me know your thoughts!
