How can I backup my Figma projects before workplace surveillance software gets installed?

My workplace is rolling out employee tracking software that will monitor everything we do on our work machines. I want to preserve my design work from Figma for my personal portfolio before this happens. The monitoring tool will apparently track all our actions including copying files and taking screenshots, which makes transferring work much harder. I’ve put a lot of effort into these designs and starting from scratch would take forever. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of situation? I’m thinking I should export everything now while I still can, then wait until the designs are publicly available before using them in my portfolio to avoid any legal issues. What’s the best approach here?

totally get it! def use figma’s version history to save those old drafts. exporting to pdf or png into your personal cloud during lunch sounds smart. just be careful not to take any company brand stuff unless it’s public already. good luck!
