I’m trying to use the new Slicer feature in Google Sheets but I can’t find it. I know it was added recently and should be available under the Data menu. However when I select my pivot table and go to Data, there’s no Slicer option showing up.
I’ve seen screenshots online where the Slicer option appears in the menu, but it’s not there for me. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Could there be a setting that needs to be enabled first?
I’m wondering if it’s a gradual rollout and might not be available for all users yet. Or perhaps I’m overlooking something simple? Any guidance on how to get the Slicer feature up and running would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I ran into this exact problem a few weeks ago when trying to use Slicers. What finally worked for me was clearing my browser cache and cookies, then signing out of my Google account and back in again. After doing that, the Slicer option suddenly appeared under the Data menu when I had a pivot table selected.
If that doesn’t do the trick, you might also try accessing Sheets in an incognito/private browsing window. Sometimes browser extensions or settings can interfere with new Google features rolling out.
Worst case, you may just need to wait a bit longer if it’s still rolling out gradually. Google tends to release new features in phases. Hope you get it working soon!

yo, i had the same issue! turns out u gotta enable it in advanced settings. go to tools > advanced settings and look for ‘enable beta features’. check that box and refresh. should pop up under data menu after that. good luck!
