I’m having trouble with how Spotify shows song lyrics on my upright monitor setup

I have a vertical monitor configuration and when I open Spotify to view lyrics, the text layout looks really weird and cramped. The words don’t fill the screen properly and there’s a lot of wasted space on the sides.

Has anyone else run into this problem with portrait mode displays? The lyrics panel seems designed only for regular horizontal screens. I’ve tried adjusting window size and checking display settings but nothing seems to help.

Is there a way to make the lyrics view work better with tall monitors? Maybe some hidden settings or third-party solutions that can improve the text formatting?

Any suggestions would be great since I really like reading lyrics while listening to music but the current layout makes it hard to enjoy.

ugh yeah spotify’s lyric display is kinda broken for portrait setups. try using the web version instead of desktop app - it handles vertical screens better imo. or you could use genius.com alongside spotify, their lyrics format way nicer on tall monitors

sounds like a pain! i had a similar prob with my screen too. i just switched to a narrower window, and it helped a bit with the lyrix layout. also, check if there’s an update for spotify, sometimes fixes come through that way.
