I’m currently working on formatting percentage values in Google Sheets and need some guidance on using color in custom number formats. The code I’m utilizing is:

[Green]#,##0.0%;[Red](#,##0.0%)

This results in:

  • Positive values: 98,765.0% displayed in green
  • Negative values: (98,765.0%) shown in red

However, the green appears too light and unreadable. I’m looking to darken it but can’t seem to find the right code. I’ve attempted various alternatives including [Dark Green], [DarkGreen], [forest green], and even hex codes like [#008000], but nothing seems to work. Can anyone suggest the proper syntax for a darker green in custom number formats in Google Sheets?
