Need help with Jira status change
I’m managing my project using Jira and the Agile method. I’ve got a problem with closing user stories. When I finish a story, it shows up as ‘Resolved’ instead of ‘Closed’. This is confusing for my team.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I want the status to say ‘Closed’ when we’re done with a story. Is there a setting I’m missing?
I’ve looked through the Jira options but can’t find anything that helps. Maybe there’s a workflow issue? Or do I need to set up a custom status?

hey sophia, i’ve dealt with this before. check ur workflow settings in jira. u probably need to add a transition from ‘Resolved’ to ‘Closed’. go to project settings, find workflows, and edit the one for user stories. add the new transition there. hope this helps!
