For example, I’d like to see a breakdown of how many hours I spent on different defects during March, preferably in a chart or graph format. I’m curious if this reporting capability exists in the standard JIRA installation or if I need a specific edition to access these analytics features. Had the exact same problem tracking billable hours across projects. JIRA’s built-in reporting is terrible for visual stuff. I ended up using Worklog Assistant from the Atlassian marketplace - it actually gives you proper charts and breakdowns without upgrading your whole license. Takes like 10 minutes to set up, then you can pull monthly reports with pie charts showing how time’s split across different issue types. Way cheaper than going premium just for time reporting. Export works great too if you need to send reports to management or clients.
