Integrating conversations from shared Slack channels into HubSpot

Hey everyone! I’m working on a cool project and could use some input.

We’re trying to solve the problem of tracking conversations in shared Slack channels (you know, the ones used with external partners). Right now, it’s a bit of a blind spot in our CRM.

Here’s the deal:

  • We can log emails, calls, and texts in HubSpot easily
  • But Slack Connect chats? Not so much
  • Reps have to manually add them, which is a pain

So we’re building something to sync these chats automatically. Pretty neat, right?

I can totally relate to this issue. We’ve been grappling with the same problem for months now. Our sales team is constantly in Slack Connect channels with clients, but getting that valuable conversation data into HubSpot has been a real challenge.
