Is anyone else shocked by the massive price gap between Hubspot's Starter and Pro plans?

I’m totally blown away by how much Hubspot wants us to pay to upgrade from Starter to Pro. They told me it would cost $17,500 a year. That’s crazy! We’re only paying $250 a year right now.

I run a small business and this price hike feels like a slap in the face. What’s worse is that if we did upgrade, we’d have to spend even more time and money to use all the new features. It doesn’t seem worth it at all.

The funny thing is, we’re now using other software to do what Hubspot won’t let us do on the cheap plan. They used to have a better deal for small companies like us, but now it’s gone.

We keep running into walls with the basic plan, but the upgrade is just too expensive. We’re a tiny team and we already have to use other tools like Mailchimp because Hubspot locks so much stuff away.

I’m seriously thinking about ditching Hubspot altogether. Has anyone found a good alternative?

If you’re thinking about using Hubspot, be careful. It might work okay at first, but it gets really frustrating when you want to do more without spending a fortune. They don’t seem to care much about small businesses anymore.

yeah, hubspot’s pricing is nuts! we switched to zoho crm - way cheaper. their starter plan gives many features hubspot hides in pro. plus, u can add marketing bits later if needed. might be worth checkin out for ur small biz. saved us a ton of cash

I’ve been in a similar situation with Hubspot, and I can relate to your frustration. The price jump from Starter to Pro is indeed substantial and can be difficult to justify for small businesses. In my experience, the value proposition of the Pro plan didn’t align with our needs or budget.

After careful consideration, we decided to explore alternatives. We found that a combination of more affordable, specialized tools actually suited our workflow better. For example, we now use a mix of Mailchimp for email marketing, Pipedrive for CRM, and Zapier to connect various tools.

This approach has allowed us to tailor our tech stack to our specific needs without breaking the bank. It does require some initial setup and integration work, but the long-term cost savings and flexibility have been worth it for us.

I’d recommend evaluating your specific requirements and exploring alternatives that focus on those key areas. You might find that a more modular approach works better for your business at this stage.
