Is crafting AI agents from the ground up necessary when Zapier covers most scenarios?

I know Zapier has tons of integrations and some agent thing. It seems like they might already do a lot of what we were planning. I can only think of a few everyday uses for AI agents, like booking doctor visits or finding restaurants. Maybe using AI for these tasks is overkill?
