I’m having some doubts about Figma’s usability on laptops. The layers panel seems to have some design flaws that make it hard to work with, especially on complex projects. Even with the new UI update, the issues persist.
Here are some problems I’ve noticed:
- Oversized padding takes up too much space
- No horizontal scrolling option
- Many layers get cut off and become invisible
It feels like they went overboard with the minimalist design approach. While the app looks sleek, it sacrifices functionality. Has anyone else experienced similar frustrations? I’m wondering if Figma is really meant for serious work on laptops or if it’s better suited for larger desktop setups.
