Is Figma Sites now a better option than Framer for a motion designer's portfolio?

Hey everyone! I’m a motion designer working in-house for a tech company. I use Figma a lot with our product team and I’ve made some landing pages with it. My portfolio is currently on Adobe Portfolio but it’s not great.

I started rebuilding it on Framer because I liked the design control, easy responsive layouts, and cool animations. I don’t want to learn coding but I’m okay with small tweaks if needed.

Now I’m wondering about the new Figma Sites feature. Can it do everything Framer does, including those eye-catching animations, without much coding? I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether I should stick with Framer or switch to Figma for my portfolio. What are the pros and cons? Thanks!

I’ve been using figma sites for my portfolio and it’s pretty neat! The animations aren’t as fancy as framer but u can do basic stuff. Plus, it’s super easy to update since i’m already using figma for work. Downside is less customization options, but for a quick portfolio it does the job. Maybe try both and see wat feels better for u?
