Is Jira giving you trouble since the day before?

Hey everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone else is having problems with Jira lately. It seems like things started acting up yesterday, and I’m not sure if it’s just me or if others are experiencing issues too.

Have you noticed any:

  • Slow loading times?
  • Error messages popping up?
  • Difficulties creating or updating tickets?
  • Problems with the search function?

If you’ve run into any hiccups, could you share what kind of issues you’re facing? It would be really helpful to know if this is a widespread problem or just something on my end.

Also, if anyone has found any workarounds or heard anything from the Jira support team, I’d love to hear about it. Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

I’ve definitely been experiencing issues with Jira since yesterday as well. The biggest problem for me has been the search function - it’s either not returning results or timing out completely. It’s incredibly frustrating when trying to find specific tickets or information.

I reached out to our IT department, and they mentioned Atlassian is aware of some ongoing performance issues affecting multiple instances. Apparently, they’re working on a fix, but no ETA yet.

In the meantime, I’ve found that using the mobile app is slightly more reliable, though obviously not ideal for extended work. Also, breaking down complex JQL queries into simpler ones seems to help a bit with the search function.

Hopefully, Atlassian resolves this soon. It’s really impacting productivity across our teams.

yea, jira’s been a pain since yesterday. pages take forever to load and i keep getting random errors. tried clearing cache but no luck. anyone else having these issues or know whats going on? hope they fix it soon, its really slowing down our work.

I’ve been grappling with Jira issues since yesterday too. The most aggravating problem I’ve encountered is the constant timeouts when trying to update tickets. It’s severely hampering our sprint planning and daily standups.

Our team lead contacted Atlassian support, and they confirmed a widespread performance degradation affecting numerous customers. They’re apparently working on it, but no concrete timeline for a resolution yet.

As a temporary workaround, we’ve resorted to using the Jira CLI for some basic operations. It’s not ideal, but it’s helping us keep things moving. If you’re comfortable with command-line interfaces, it might be worth exploring.

This outage is really highlighting how dependent we’ve become on Jira for our workflows. Maybe it’s time to consider some backup systems or alternative tools for critical processes.
