Hey everyone, I’ve been having a weird issue with Spotify lately. The shuffle feature doesn’t seem to be working right. I keep hearing the same songs over and over, even though I have a huge playlist. It’s like it’s stuck on a small group of tracks.
Has anyone else noticed this problem? I thought maybe it was just me, but I’ve seen a few comments online about it too. It’s pretty frustrating when you want to mix things up but end up listening to the same stuff.
I’ve tried logging out and back in, and even reinstalling the app, but no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this or is it a problem on Spotify’s end? Would love to hear if you guys have experienced something similar or found a solution. Thanks!

omg yes!! spotify’s shuffle is a joke lately 
i swear it plays the same 10 songs on repeat. wat i do is make a bunch of smaller playlists n shuffle between those. also try clearing ur cache, it helped me a lil. spotify needs to fix this asap tho, its killin my vibe
I’ve definitely run into this frustrating issue too. What’s worked for me is manually shuffling my playlist order every so often. I’ll sort by artist or album, then drag songs around randomly. It seems to ‘reset’ Spotify’s algorithm somehow and I get much more variety when shuffling after that. Another trick is to create a few different playlists with overlapping songs, then shuffle between those. It takes a bit more effort, but I find I discover forgotten tracks that way. Hope that helps! yeah, i’ve noticed that too! it’s super annoying. I thought i was going crazy or something. seems like spotify’s algorithm favors certain songs. maybe try creating a new playlist with ur faves and shuffle that? might help shake things up a bit. good luck!
