Is the Telegram Job Offer from Their Bot Legitimate?

Hey everyone,

I just got a message from the Telegram Jobs Bot offering me a content moderator position. I’m pretty excited but also a bit wary. Has anyone else gotten job offers this way?

I did some digging on Telegram’s site and they do mention using a bot for job opportunities. But I’m still not 100% sure if this is the real deal or not.

Can anyone share their experience with Telegram’s job bot? Is it actually used for legit hiring? I’d really appreciate any info or advice before I decide to go ahead with this.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve actually gone through the Telegram Jobs Bot hiring process myself about a year ago. While it seemed a bit unconventional at first, it turned out to be legitimate. The bot guided me through initial screening questions and then connected me with a real HR person for further interviews.

That being said, it’s always wise to exercise caution. Make sure the bot is coming from an official Telegram account. Also, be wary if they ask for sensitive personal information or payment upfront. Legitimate hiring processes shouldn’t require those things early on.

My advice would be to proceed, but stay vigilant. If anything feels off during the process, don’t hesitate to back out. Good luck with the opportunity!

yo, i got a msg from that bot too! wasnt sure bout it at first, but my friend went thru the process n got hired. just be careful n dont give out personal info too quick. if it feels sketchy, bail. good luck with the job hunt!

I’ve been working as a content moderator for Telegram for the past six months, and I can confirm that their job bot is indeed legitimate. The hiring process was straightforward and professional. However, it’s crucial to verify the authenticity of the bot you’re interacting with. Check Telegram’s official channels for the correct bot username. Be cautious of any requests for money or excessive personal information early in the process. If you decide to proceed, prepare for a series of screening questions followed by video interviews with actual team members. The job itself is demanding but rewarding, requiring attention to detail and quick decision-making skills. Best of luck if you choose to pursue this opportunity.
