Hey everyone! I’m a big fan of the Save to Notion feature on desktop. It’s awesome for knowledge management. But I’m really struggling to find something similar for my phone.
Does anyone know if there’s an iOS app that can save stuff to Notion databases with multiple columns? The official Notion app only lets me save a URL, which is pretty limiting.
I’ve been thinking maybe there’s a way to set this up with Zapier or something like that? I’m not super tech-savvy, so I’m hoping someone here might have a solution or know of an app that does this.
It’s driving me crazy not being able to organize my ideas on the go like I can on my computer. Any help would be much appreciated!
hey mandy, have u tried notion2sheets? it syncs notion DBs with google sheets. u could use a sheets mobile app to enter data, then it auto-updates notion. not perfect but might work. also check out ‘automate.io’ - similar to zapier but easier IMO. good luck!
I’ve found a workaround that might suit your needs, Mandy. There’s an app called ‘Telegram’ that can be configured to work with Notion databases. Here’s how:
Set up a Telegram bot and link it to your Notion workspace using Zapier or Integromat. Then, create a custom keyboard in Telegram with buttons for each column in your Notion database.
When you want to add something, just open Telegram, select your bot, and use the custom keyboard to input data. The integration will automatically send it to the right columns in Notion.
It’s not perfect, but it’s faster than switching between apps or using forms. Plus, Telegram works offline, so you can queue up entries to sync later. It took me a bit to set up, but now it’s quite seamless for on-the-go data entry.
I’ve been using a workaround that might help you out, Mandy. I set up a simple form using Google Forms that mirrors the columns in my Notion database. Then I used Zapier to connect the form to Notion. Now, whenever I’m on my phone and want to add something to Notion, I just fill out the Google Form. Zapier automatically sends that data to the right columns in my Notion database.
It took a bit of trial and error to set up, but now it works like a charm. The Google Forms app is really easy to use on mobile, and you can customize the form fields to match exactly what you need in Notion. Plus, you can access it offline if you need to.
It’s not as seamless as a dedicated app, but it gets the job done and gives me the flexibility I need when I’m away from my computer. Hope this helps!
