Is there a way to get huge Google Drive storage (50+ TB) permanently? How much would it cost?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a massive amount of cloud storage to keep all my stuff safe. You know, like photos, videos, and important files. I’ve heard rumors about Google Drive offering more than 50 TB of space, but I can’t seem to find any solid info on it.

I’ve been searching online for hours, but no luck so far. Does anyone know if this is actually a thing? And if it is, where can I sign up for it? Also, any idea about the price tag for something like that?

I’d really appreciate any tips or leads you guys might have. This would be a game-changer for my data backup needs. Thanks in advance for your help!

hey there! google drive max is 30TB for $150/month. for 50TB+ you’d need google cloud storage, but it’s pricey - like $1300/month for standard storage. might wanna look at other options tbh. dropbox or backblaze could work better for personal stuff. good luck!

I’ve actually looked into this recently for my own massive storage needs. Unfortunately, Google Drive tops out at 30TB for $150/month through their Google One plans. For 50TB+, you’d need to step up to Google Cloud Storage, but fair warning - it gets expensive fast.

I crunched the numbers, and you’re looking at around $1300/month for 50TB of standard storage on Google Cloud. That’s a hefty price tag for personal use. Have you considered alternatives like Wasabi or Backblaze B2? They offer much more affordable rates for large storage volumes.

In my experience, unless you absolutely need Google’s ecosystem, exploring other cloud providers could save you a bundle. Just make sure to factor in egress fees if you’ll be frequently accessing or downloading your data.

I’ve been down this road before, and unfortunately, Google Drive doesn’t offer 50TB+ storage plans for individuals. Their max is 30TB at $150/month through Google One. For 50TB+, you’d need to use Google Cloud Storage, but it’s not really designed for personal use. It’s complex and expensive - we’re talking about $1300/month for 50TB of standard storage.

Have you considered other cloud storage providers? Wasabi or Backblaze B2 might be worth looking into. They offer better rates for large storage needs without the enterprise-level complexity. Just make sure to factor in any potential egress fees if you’ll be frequently accessing your data. It might take some research, but you could save a significant amount compared to Google’s offerings for that much storage.
