Issues with Amazon Seller Central integration in Zapier

Hey everyone! I’m running into a really frustrating problem with my Amazon Seller Central integration. Every time I try to reconnect it to my Zapier workflows, the connection dies right away. It’s like it connects for a second and then just stops working.

I’ve tried reconnecting multiple times but the same thing keeps happening. The connection status shows as expired almost immediately after I set it up. This is really messing up my automated order processing workflows.

Has anyone else been dealing with similar connectivity problems lately? I’m wondering if this is a widespread issue or if there’s something specific I need to do to fix the authentication. Any help or shared experiences would be really appreciated!

Sounds like Amazon’s messing with permissions, not Zapier. Had this exact issue last month - Amazon changed security settings in my Seller Central without telling me. Go to Settings > Apps and Services in your dashboard. Bet you’ll find Zapier lost its access. I had to re-authorize from Amazon’s side first, then completely rebuild the Zapier connection. Also check for any security alerts or pending actions on your Amazon account - those’ll kill API connections until you deal with them.

Had this exact problem three weeks ago - it’s Amazon’s API rate limiting. The connection looks like it works, but Amazon kills it right away if you’re making too many auth attempts too fast. I fixed it by waiting 24 hours between tries and making sure no other apps were hitting the Seller Central API at the same time. Check if you’ve got other Zapier workflows or third-party tools trying to access the same API. Those auth tokens clash when multiple services try connecting simultaneously.

This authentication issue is almost always a timezone problem between your server and Amazon’s API. Same thing happened to me when my system clock was off by just a few minutes - it’d connect briefly then die because Amazon’s super strict about timestamp accuracy. Check that your computer’s timezone matches your actual location and turn on automatic time sync. Amazon kills tokens even with tiny clock drift. Once I fixed my timezone, Zapier stayed connected for months without needing manual reconnects or token refreshes.

Been there with Amazon integrations. Zapier’s Amazon connector is limited and breaks constantly with auth renewals and API changes.

Switched to Latenode after the same headaches. Night and day difference - it handles Amazon’s messy authentication way better and doesn’t break every time Amazon updates their API.

What sold me was the custom error handling. When connections fail, you can set up retry logic and fallback workflows instead of everything just dying silently like Zapier. Their Amazon integration also supports more endpoints and gives you actual control over rate limiting.

Set up my order processing workflow six months ago - zero connection issues since. The visual builder makes it easy to spot potential problems and fix them upfront.

Ugh, same thing happened to me yesterday! Found out my Seller Central account had a suspension warning I completely missed in my emails. Check your Amazon notifications - even tiny policy warnings can kill your API access without warning.

for sure! i had that issue too. clearing your browser’s cache might help. also, make sure your zap is up to date with the latest auth tokens. good luck getting it sorted!
