Hey everyone,
I’m getting really frustrated with my current email setup. I’ve got 10 Gmail accounts and I’m using Outlook on my iPhone, but it’s been acting up lately. The notifications are super delayed, sometimes by hours! And just this morning, it didn’t even tell me about 7 new emails. Talk about a mess!
I’m wondering if any of you have found a better email app for iOS that works well with Gmail? I’m looking for something that:
- Can handle multiple Gmail accounts
- Has reliable push notifications
- Won’t automatically mark emails as read
- Is trustworthy with login info
The default Mail app isn’t cutting it either because it doesn’t have push for Gmail. Any suggestions would be a huge help. I’m tired of missing important emails because of unreliable apps. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!
I’ve been using Spark for about a year now, and it’s been a game-changer for managing multiple Gmail accounts. I was in a similar boat, juggling 6 different accounts and constantly missing important emails with other apps.
Spark’s push notifications are spot-on - I get alerts within seconds of new emails arriving. What I really appreciate is the Smart Inbox feature. It automatically categorizes my emails, so I can focus on what’s important without getting overwhelmed.
The app’s never marked my emails as read unless I’ve actually opened them, which was a huge issue with my previous app. As for security, I did some digging before trusting it with my login info, and their encryption practices seem solid.
One small quirk I’ve noticed is that sometimes the search function can be a bit slow when looking through older emails, but it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall reliability. If you’re looking for a trustworthy app that can handle multiple Gmail accounts without hiccups, Spark’s definitely worth a try.
Have you considered giving Edison Mail a shot? I switched to it a few months ago after facing similar issues with other apps, and it’s been handling my multiple Gmail accounts like a champ. The push notifications are impressively quick, and I haven’t missed any important emails since.
One thing I particularly appreciate is that Edison doesn’t automatically mark emails as read unless I’ve actually opened them. As for security, they seem to take it seriously with end-to-end encryption.
The interface is intuitive, making it easy to toggle between accounts. I’ve found the search function to be quite robust too, which is a big plus when managing multiple inboxes.
Just a heads up, though - the initial setup can take a bit of time if you’re importing a lot of emails. But once that’s done, it’s smooth sailing. Might be worth looking into for your situation.
hey mate, have u tried Spike? its been my go-to for handling multiple gmail accounts. push notifications are on point, and it doesnt mark emails as read unless u actually open em. security seems solid too. interface is clean and modern, makes managing those 10 accounts a breeze. might be worth checking out!
