Looking for a spreadsheet template to organize custom content

Hey everyone! I’m searching for a good way to keep my custom content organized. Does anyone have a spreadsheet template they use? I’d love to see how others manage their CC collections.

I’m thinking about making my own, but I’m not sure where to start. What kind of info do you usually include? Things like creator name, download date, and file size come to mind. But I’m wondering if there are other important details I’m missing.

If you have any tips or examples, that would be super helpful! I’m eager to get my CC sorted out and make it easier to find things when I need them. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

hey, i use google sheets for my cc. columns: creator, item type, install date, and personal rating. quick tip: add screenshots! helps tons when browsing. also, color code by category (cas, build, etc). makes finding stuff way easier. hope this helps!

I’ve found that using Airtable for CC organization works wonders. It allows for more flexibility than a standard spreadsheet. My base includes fields for creator, item name, category, download date, and file size. What sets it apart is the ability to add images directly to each record, making visual identification a breeze.

One crucial field I include is ‘conflicts/requirements’. This saves time troubleshooting when something doesn’t work as expected. I also maintain a ‘tags’ field for easy filtering - think ‘medieval’, ‘modern’, ‘fantasy’, etc.

Automation is key. I’ve set up scripts to automatically update the ‘last used’ date when I tick a checkbox, helping me keep track of what I actually use. It takes some initial setup, but the time saved in the long run is invaluable.

I’ve been using a spreadsheet to organize my CC for years, and it’s been a game-changer. Here’s what I include:

Creator name, item name, category (CAS, build, etc.), download date, file size, and a link to where I got it. I also have a column for notes where I jot down things like ‘works with seasons’ or ‘conflicts with X mod’.

One tip: add a column for ‘last used date’. It helps me keep track of what I actually use and what’s just taking up space. I review this every few months and purge unused CC.

For organization, I use separate sheets for different categories. Makes it easier to find stuff when I’m in-game.

It takes some time to set up, but it’s worth it. Saves hours of frustration when you’re trying to track down that one hair or wallpaper you know you downloaded but can’t find.
