I’m especially interested in using it for contract management - tracking suppliers, handling procurement processes, monitoring agreement risks, and managing the full contract lifecycle. We’d probably go with their enterprise tier if we move forward.

We evaluated Airtable for contract management around a year and a half ago but ultimately decided against it. The primary concern was its scalability; for basic tasks, it performs adequately, but when it comes to handling intricate contracts with various stakeholders and approval processes, it can quickly become convoluted. We also found the enterprise pricing steep as we considered the user count we’d need across teams. Additionally, there were challenges with their API integration with our legal systems, particularly related to document versioning and compliance tracking. We had some success using it for simpler tasks like vendor onboarding, which is less complex than managing full contracts. If your contracts are straightforward and your team is small, it could work, but I recommend running a trial on a few contracts first before implementing it on a larger scale.
