Looking for mobile solution to stream social media videos without downloading or logging in

I recently disabled my social media profiles for privacy reasons but my buddies keep sharing Instagram reels and Facebook videos with me. I need a way to view this content without having to save files to my phone storage or reactivating my old accounts. Are there any mobile apps or streaming tools that can handle this? I tried a few options but most require account login or force you to download everything locally. Looking for something that works smoothly on Android if possible. Any suggestions would be really helpful since I miss out on a lot of content my friends share.

Try StorySaver or InstaView - they’re perfect for this. Just paste the social media URL and they’ll stream the content without needing you to log in. I’ve used similar apps for months since deactivating my accounts, and they handle Instagram reels and Facebook videos pretty well. Look for ones that grab the direct video links instead of asking you to authenticate. Browser extensions work too, but mobile apps are usually more reliable. Obviously private accounts won’t work, but public posts stream fine. Just be careful which apps you trust since they’re basically acting as your proxy.

I had this exact problem - wanted to stay off social media but still see stuff friends shared.

Browser tricks and apps work for a while, but they constantly break when platforms update. Got sick of hunting for new workarounds every few months.

What fixed it for me was setting up automation that processes all the links. Now when friends send me stuff, I just forward it to a workflow that pulls the video and streams it back - no login needed.

Handles Instagram reels, Facebook videos, TikToks, everything. Nothing stored on my phone, no accounts required, and it keeps working when platforms change.

I also set it up for group chats so multiple shared links get processed automatically.

You can build this pretty easily with the right automation platform. Latenode works great for social media integrations and handles exactly this type of workflow: https://latenode.com

I deleted Instagram last year but still wanted to see stories and reels people sent me. Here’s what worked: just use your phone’s browser instead of hunting for apps. You can view most public social media stuff without logging in, though you’ll lose some features. For Instagram, paste the link in your browser and you’re good to go. Facebook videos are trickier - they usually need login, but try switching to desktop mode in your browser. The best trick though? Ask friends to screenshot or describe what they’re sending instead of just dropping links. Made our conversations way better since they actually had to explain why they thought I’d care, rather than mindlessly sharing everything.
