As a long-time YouTube TV subscriber, I’m disappointed but not surprised by this price hike. It seems like streaming services are following the path of traditional cable, with regular increases that chip away at the initial cost savings. While the jump to $82.99 is substantial, I’ll likely stick around for now. The interface and cloud DVR are still top-notch, and switching providers is a hassle. However, I’m definitely going to take a hard look at my viewing habits and see if I can cut back on some add-ons to offset this increase.

It’s frustrating to see prices climb while the core channel lineup remains largely unchanged. YouTube TV needs to be careful not to price themselves out of the market.
