Hey everyone, I’ve been waiting for this Miro update for what feels like ages now. Every time I check for updates, it says there’s one available but then it just sits there doing nothing. The progress bar hasn’t moved in hours and I’m starting to think it’s never going to finish. Has anyone else experienced this issue with Miro updates taking an extremely long time? I really need to use the app for work but this endless update cycle is driving me crazy. Any tips on how to fix this or should I just keep waiting? Thanks in advance for any help!
try closing the app and restarting ur comp. sometimes Miro hangs in the bg and messes up updates. also, make sure u have enough storage. if it still doesn’t work, maybe just go for a manual download of the latest version instead of waiting forever.
Had the exact same issue a few months ago - update would start but never finish. Turned out my corporate firewall was blocking the download. Check your antivirus and firewall settings first. Also try running Miro as admin during the update, permission issues cause these loops sometimes. On Windows, clear the app cache in settings before trying again. Had the same problem - updates just stuck forever. Uninstalled Miro completely and downloaded it fresh from their site. Also double-checked my internet since connection drops can mess up updates.
