Miro update taking forever - when will it actually arrive?

Hey everyone, I’ve been waiting for this Miro update for what feels like ages now. Every time I check for updates, it says there’s one available but then it just sits there doing nothing. The progress bar hasn’t moved in hours and I’m starting to think it’s never going to finish. Has anyone else experienced this issue with Miro updates taking an extremely long time? I really need to use the app for work but this endless update cycle is driving me crazy. Any tips on how to fix this or should I just keep waiting? Thanks in advance for any help!

try closing the app and restarting ur comp. sometimes Miro hangs in the bg and messes up updates. also, make sure u have enough storage. if it still doesn’t work, maybe just go for a manual download of the latest version instead of waiting forever.

Had the exact same issue a few months ago - update would start but never finish. Turned out my corporate firewall was blocking the download. Check your antivirus and firewall settings first. Also try running Miro as admin during the update, permission issues cause these loops sometimes. On Windows, clear the app cache in settings before trying again. Took me 20 minutes once I realized it was the firewall.

Miro’s update process can often get interrupted by conflicting applications or corrupted files. I’ve faced similar issues, and one effective solution is to manually terminate all Miro-related processes in the Task Manager. Once you do that, restart the application, and the update should proceed without any issues. For those using Mac, you can achieve the same result using Activity Monitor to end any Miro processes. It’s common for failed updates to leave background services running, which can prevent new updates from completing.

I wasted hours on Miro update problems at work until I got smart about it. Skip the manual reinstalls and firewall troubleshooting - there’s a better way.

Build an automation that monitors your apps and handles updates automatically. Mine checks versions, downloads updates overnight, and alerts me when something breaks.

For Miro, create a workflow that catches failed updates, kills stuck processes, clears temp files, and retries downloads. Takes 10 minutes to build, saves you forever.

I automate all my software management now. No more staring at frozen progress bars.

Latenode works great for these workflows: https://latenode.com

Had the same problem - updates just stuck forever. Uninstalled Miro completely and downloaded it fresh from their site. Also double-checked my internet since connection drops can mess up updates. Yeah, it’s annoying, but a clean reinstall usually fixes these stubborn issues way better than sitting around waiting. Worth a shot if you want to avoid more frustration.
