Hey everyone! I’m pretty excited about this Telegram bot I just created. It’s like having a personal assistant that never forgets anything.
I input tasks or things I need to remember, and the bot sends me Telegram notifications throughout the day. It’s been a game-changer for keeping me focused and on top of things.
Right now, it’s pretty basic, but I’ve got plans to add some cool features:
Motivational messages to keep me pumped
A more organized way to input and display information
It’s still a work in progress, and I’m ironing out some kinks. But I’m really happy with how it’s shaping up so far.
Has anyone else tried making a similar bot? I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how I can make it even better!
I created a similar bot for Discord a while back, and it’s been a lifesaver. One feature that really improved its usefulness was adding context-aware reminders. For example, if I input ‘Buy milk when I’m near the grocery store,’ it uses my phone’s location to send the reminder at the right time and place.
Another thing that worked well was integrating it with my calendar. The bot checks my schedule and sends reminders about upcoming events or deadlines. It also helps me plan my day by suggesting time slots for tasks based on my availability.
One tip: be careful with notification frequency. Too many alerts can become annoying. I added a ‘snooze’ feature and customizable quiet hours to avoid notification fatigue.
Your idea for motivational messages is great. Maybe consider personalizing them based on the user’s preferences or past behavior. Keep up the good work!
thats cool! i made a similar bot for discord too. one thing that helped me was adding a priority system for tasks. so important stuff gets more reminders. also, try adding a random fact feature - its fun and keps things interesting. keep it up!
I’ve been using a similar Telegram bot for a few months now, and it’s truly transformed my productivity. One feature I found particularly useful was the ability to categorize tasks into different projects or areas of life. This helped me maintain a better overview of my commitments across work, personal life, and hobbies.
Another suggestion: consider implementing a ‘quick add’ function where you can send voice messages to your bot, which it then transcribes and adds to your task list. This has been incredibly handy when I’m on the go or my hands are full.
Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of data visualization. I added a simple weekly report feature that shows my task completion rate and most productive times of day. It’s been enlightening and motivating to see my progress quantified.
