My personal review of working with Mirotime

Hi everyone! I usually don’t share reviews since I stick with trusted dealers and the quality speaks for itself. But lately I’ve seen some negative comments about Jack from Mirotime, so I wanted to share my actual experience.

I was looking at the 2824 VSF Submariner he had for $300 shipped. After thinking it over for weeks, I finally ordered on May 10th. The whole process from first WhatsApp message to payment took just 9 minutes which was super fast.

He said QC photos would take 2-3 days but it ended up being 5 days. Not a big deal since this isn’t Amazon. The QC looked decent but the date wheel had issues and the beat error was too high. I noticed from other QC posts that the 2824 version has date wheel problems in general. I told him I’d green light it if he could adjust the movement and he agreed.

Then I started second guessing myself about the bad date wheel and wanted to switch to the VSF no-date version instead. I felt bad since I already approved it and knew this would create extra work for him. So I messaged him offering to pay the price difference plus an extra $10 for the trouble. He was cool about it and said just the price difference was fine.

8 hours later I got QC photos for the no-date Sub and it looked nearly perfect so I approved it. This was May 17th, he shipped May 20th, and it arrived in Germany via DHL in just 8 days.

Overall I’d definitely recommend Miro. Steve is usually my go-to dealer but now I’ll check prices with both since they’re equally good in my experience.

I’m only writing this because I was worried after reading negative posts about him here. I’m sure some people had bad experiences and that’s valid, but sometimes things just go wrong. We’re all human so I think it’s fair to share a positive experience too.

Thanks for sharing this! Really helpful to hear real experiences, especially with all the mixed reviews floating around. Your timeline and how Mirotime handled communication seems pretty solid for online orders - we all know how stressful that can get. The fact they adjusted your order without extra fees says a lot about their customer service. Date wheel problems seem common across different dealers, so I wouldn’t pin that on Jack specifically. Eight days DHL to Germany is actually pretty impressive right now. Your experience has me thinking about trying Mirotime for my next purchase.

Thanks for the detailed review. Nine minutes from first contact to payment is crazy fast - that responsiveness really matters with overseas deals. What impressed me most was them handling the movement adjustment without any pushback. Most dealers would either refuse or hit you with extra fees for that kind of work. Timeline’s solid too, especially since you changed things mid-order. I’ve seen those same date wheel issues with VSF 2824 movements from other dealers, so that’s definitely a batch thing, not on them. Really helpful to know they’re flexible about switching to no-date after QC approval - most people stress about making changes at that point.

i getcha, those mixed reviews can be confusing. but it’s cool to see a dealer be flexible like that. shipping has been a mess lately, so sounds like they did a decent job overall. ur experience is def making me think about giving them a shot.

Great write-up, thanks for posting this. I’ve been on the fence about Mirotime after seeing complaints, but your experience sounds typical for reps. Five days for QC isn’t bad - most TDs are swamped right now. What impressed me was Jack letting you switch orders without hassle or extra fees. That flexibility is rare. Smart choice going with the VSF no-date too - those date wheels have been a mess across batches. Eight days to Germany via DHL beats my recent orders from other dealers. Think I’ll try them next since communication looks solid.
