Hey everyone! I just found this adorable stray on my way home from class and I’m thinking about keeping her. I’m really into music and thought it might be fun to name her after an artist. What was the last singer or band you listened to on Spotify? I’d love to hear your suggestions for pet names based on that. It could be the artist’s name or maybe something inspired by their songs. I’m open to all ideas. Thanks for helping me brainstorm!
Last artist I streamed was The Weeknd. ‘Abel’ could work as a unique pet name, or ‘Starboy’ if you want something catchier. ‘Dawn’ from his ‘Dawn FM’ album might suit a light-colored pet. If you’re into his earlier work, ‘Trilogy’ has a nice ring to it. Just keep in mind, naming pets after musicians can backfire. My friend’s cat ‘Bowie’ developed quite the diva attitude. I recently had Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ album on repeat, and it’s got me thinking. ‘Midnight’ could be a cool name for a pet, especially if it’s a dark-colored cat or dog. If you’re into her older stuff, ‘Swift’ has a nice ring to it too. Or you could go with ‘Karma’ from one of her popular tracks. It’s catchy and fitting for a pet that came into your life unexpectedly. Just be prepared for the pet to live up to its name – my friend named her cat after a Swift song, and now it won’t stop knocking things off shelves at 3 AM!
