Need assistance setting up Airtable automations for digital product management

Hi folks,

I’m looking for some help with Airtable automations for my digital product. Here’s what I’m trying to do:

  • Set up CRM automation with Calendly
  • Create a dedicated space for refunds
  • Make a tab for staff payments (sales and non-sales team)
  • Add tabs for team EOD report submissions
  • Enable closers to have personal views
  • Implement lead segmentation and filtering
  • Plan for future Slack-CRM automation based on VSL watch percentage

I’m a bit stuck on how to get these working smoothly. Has anyone done something similar? Any tips or tricks would be super helpful. I’m especially curious about the CRM-Calendly integration and the best way to set up the team-specific tabs.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

hey creatingstone, i’ve done similar stuff. for crm-calendly, use zapier. it’s super easy. refunds n payments? separate tables, linked records. eod reports? airtable forms r ur friend. personal views r built-in for closers. lead segmentation? use formulas n automations. future slack integration? webhooks might work. dm me if u need more deets!

I’ve been using Airtable for my digital product management, and it’s been a game-changer. For the CRM-Calendly integration, I found that using Integromat (now Make) offers more flexibility than Zapier. It allows for complex scenarios and better data manipulation.

For refunds and staff payments, I created a master ‘Finances’ table with linked records to the CRM. This approach provides a comprehensive financial overview while maintaining data relationships.

The EOD reports are handled through a combination of Airtable forms and automations. When a team member submits a form, it triggers an automation to update relevant project status fields.

For lead segmentation, I implemented a scoring system using formulas based on interaction data and demographic information. This automatically categorizes leads into different segments.

The personal views for closers have been crucial for our sales team’s efficiency. Each closer has a filtered view showing only their assigned leads and relevant information.

Regarding the future Slack-CRM automation based on VSL watch percentage, I’d suggest looking into Airtable’s API. You could potentially build a custom integration that updates lead records based on video engagement data.

I’ve implemented similar automations in Airtable for my digital product business. For the CRM-Calendly integration, use Zapier to connect the two platforms. This allows automatic creation of Airtable records when appointments are booked. For refunds and staff payments, create separate tables with linked records to your main CRM. This keeps financial data organized while maintaining connections to customer records. Team EOD reports can be automated using Airtable forms, where a form submission populates a dedicated table. Using Airtable’s ‘Personal Views’ feature, team members can create custom filtered views without affecting others. Lead segmentation works well through a mix of formulas and automations by categorizing leads based on key attributes. Hope this helps get you started. Let me know if you need more specific guidance on any of these setups.
