Need Help Choosing Between Integration Platforms: Workato vs Dell Boomi vs Celigo vs MuleSoft

Hey everyone! I’m currently evaluating different integration platforms for my company and I’m really torn between several options. We’re looking at Workato, Dell Boomi, Celigo, and MuleSoft as our main contenders.

I’ve been doing research but would love to hear from people who have actual hands-on experience with these tools. What are the main pros and cons you’ve encountered? How do they compare in terms of ease of use, pricing, and scalability?

Our main use case involves connecting our CRM system with various other business applications, so we need something that can handle multiple integrations reliably. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

Honestly, MuleSoft’s way overrated. We used it at my last company and setup was a total nightmare. I spent more time debugging than actually integrating anything. Workato’s been much smoother - their support team actually responds fast when stuff breaks. Not cheap, but it beats paying consultants to untangle MuleSoft’s mess.

Been through this exact evaluation twice recently. Skip Dell Boomi - clunky interface and constant performance issues.

MuleSoft’s solid but overkill for most CRM integrations. You’ll spend months training your team on their complexity. Only worth it if you’ve got enterprise scale needs and dedicated integration devs.

Workato actually surprised me. Started using it last year and their recipe builder makes sense. Pre-built connectors worked right away with Salesforce and our ERP. Pricing gets expensive as you scale though.

Celigo’s the sweet spot if you’re heavy on NetSuite or other cloud apps. Their templates saved us weeks of dev time. But you’ll hit limitations fast if you need custom transformations.

For CRM connectivity, I’d rank them: Workato first for ease of use, Celigo second if it fits your stack, MuleSoft third only if you have resources, Boomi last.

What’s your current CRM and how many integrations you planning? That’ll help narrow it down.
