Hey everyone, I’m a bit confused about my USCIS case status. I checked the API yesterday and saw something odd. It’s showing my case was updated on March 5th, 2025. That’s in the future! My priority date is November 9th, 2023.
Here’s what I’m seeing in the data:
- Form type: I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative)
- Submission date: 2023-11-09
- Last updated: 2025-03-05
There’s also an event listed:
- Event code: FTA0
- Event date: 2023-12-02
Is this future update date normal? Does it mean anything good for my case? I’m not sure how to interpret this information. Has anyone else seen something similar with their case status? Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks!
