No-code vs code for AI workflows - can you really have both?

Our team argues about this constantly. I like visual building but need JavaScript for custom data transforms. Does Latenode’s hybrid approach actually work? Or is it half-baked?

We build 80% visually, then drop custom JS nodes for specific transformations. Full npm access in code modules bridges the gap perfectly.

Integrated a legacy Python ML model into workflow using custom JS node. Visual interface for main flow, code for complex math. Deployment took 2 hours instead of 2 weeks.

The dual-interface system allows gradual complexity. Start with templates, then inject JavaScript at specific nodes. We’ve even imported TensorFlow.js models into otherwise no-code workflows for real-time anomaly detection.

drag drop most stuff, code when stuck. works gr8 4 our startup
