In a C# Windows Forms app displaying over 5,000 quickly-updating cells on Windows XP, should I choose GDI’s TextRenderer.DrawText or GDI+'s Graphics.DrawString for best performance?
i lean towards using textRenderer.drawtext. its optimized for win forms and offers better speed when dealing with loads of updating cells. i didnt really find any extra benefits with graphics.drawstring so its a more straightforard choice.
