              I had a similar experience with costs. Tried n8n and Hugging Face in a self-hosted setup. The initial price looks good, but then you realize you need more compute, storage, maybe even a full-time dev to keep things running. Zapier is simple, but it adds up fast when you scale.
I ended up keeping some things on Zapier and moving the rest to a mix of open source tools. Takes more work, but saves money if you have in-house skills.
