Seeking advice: BDR positions at top tech companies - Which to choose?

I’ve been trying to get into tech sales and now I’m in a good spot. I’m in the final round for BDR jobs at three big companies: Salesforce, Elastic, and Hubspot. But I’m not sure which one to pick if I get offers from all of them.

At first, I thought Salesforce was the best because it’s the biggest and has good chances to move up. Then I liked Elastic because the team seems cool, but it takes longer to get promoted there. Hubspot wasn’t my first choice, but I like that it’s all remote and you can move up pretty fast.

Money and getting promoted to AE are the most important things for me. What do you think I should focus on? What would you do if you were me?

I’ve been in your shoes, and it’s a tough call. From my experience, Salesforce is the heavyweight champion here. Their brand opens doors like you wouldn’t believe, and I’ve seen colleagues rocket to AE in record time.

That said, don’t sleep on Elastic. Their tech is cutting-edge, and while promotions might be slower, the skills you’ll pick up are gold dust. I know folks who started there and are now killing it at FAANG companies.

Hubspot’s remote setup is tempting, but in this industry, face time can be crucial for moving up. Just something to consider.

Ultimately, go where you click with the team and culture. A good fit will boost your performance, which leads to faster promotions and better pay. Trust your instincts during those final interviews.

hey there, congrats on the opportunities! i’d lean towards salesforce tbh. big name recognition, solid promotion track, and probly best comp. elastic sounds cool but slow growth might hold u back. hubspot’s remote is nice but salesforce’s rep is hard to beat in tech sales. go w/ ur gut tho!
