Seeking advice: Salesforce Marketing Cloud vs HubSpot for B2B

Hey everyone,

I’m in a bit of a pickle and could use some input. We’ve been stuck with Pardot for a decade, and it’s seriously outdated. Our company doesn’t have Salesforce Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud, so we’re struggling with automation.

We’re a B2B company with a pretty big contact list (over 60k). I’m wondering if we should make the jump to HubSpot or upgrade to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Are there any other options worth considering for B2B?

Also, I’m on the hunt for reliable data partners to beef up our database. Any recommendations would be awesome!

Thanks in advance for your help. I’m really eager to hear what you all think!

As someone who’s been in your shoes, I can tell you that both Salesforce Marketing Cloud and HubSpot have their merits for B2B. However, having used both, I lean towards HubSpot for its user-friendliness and robust all-in-one platform.

HubSpot’s CRM is a game-changer, integrating seamlessly with its marketing tools. This makes tracking leads and automating workflows much smoother. Plus, their customer support is top-notch, which can be crucial when implementing a new system.

That said, if you’re already deeply invested in the Salesforce ecosystem, Marketing Cloud might be a better fit. It’s powerful, but there’s a steeper learning curve.

For data partners, I’ve had good experiences with ZoomInfo and Clearbit. They’ve helped us significantly improve our database quality.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your specific needs and resources. I’d recommend scheduling demos with both to see which aligns better with your team’s capabilities and goals.
