Seeking design feedback for historic window restoration business website mockup

Hi everyone! I’ve created mockups for a website design project and would really appreciate some feedback. This is for a window restoration company that focuses on historic homes from the late 1800s and early 1900s period.

I’ve designed both desktop (2 columns) and mobile (single column) layouts. The color scheme and visual elements are inspired by that historical era to match the craftsmanship they offer. The company specializes in restoring wooden windows in old houses, including mechanical repairs, refinishing, and creating new windows using traditional methods.

Right now I’m focusing on getting the layout right before adding interactive elements. The mobile version has a hamburger menu styled like a window frame, and there’s a user account area planned for future online tool sales.

What I’m wondering about: Does the overall design feel cohesive between desktop and mobile? Are the call-to-action buttons clear enough or too understated? Would typical visitors find the navigation intuitive?

Any suggestions to make the design more polished would be great. Thanks for taking a look!

I worked on a similar heritage craft website last year and one thing that really made a difference was incorporating subtle texture overlays that mimicked aged wood grain in the background elements. For window restoration specifically, consider using photography that shows before/after comparisons prominently - potential customers for historic restoration need to see the quality of craftsmanship immediately. The navigation sounds well thought out, but make sure your contact information is visible without scrolling on both versions since this type of specialized service often requires consultation calls. Also worth testing how your color palette performs in different lighting conditions since many people browse these services on mobile while actually standing in their historic homes evaluating windows.
