Hi everyone,
I’m developing a new automation platform that’s aiming to be more user-friendly than current options. It’s got AI features built-in to make it accessible for non-techies. I’ve been using it for my own business needs, but I’m wondering if it could be useful for others too.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
- Would you use a tool like this?
- What tasks would you want to automate?
- Is ease of use a big factor for you?
- What repetitive task do you wish you could automate?
- Should it be a public app or open-source?
- Would you pay for it? If so, how much?
- How do you feel about existing automation tools?
I’m not selling anything here. Just trying to figure out if there’s interest in this kind of tool. Even if you think it’s unnecessary, I’d appreciate knowing that.
Thanks for any input you can provide!
As someone who’s experimented with various automation tools, I can see the potential in your platform. The AI integration for non-techies is particularly intriguing. From my experience, ease of use is crucial - I’ve abandoned complex tools despite their power. I’d be most interested in automating data entry, report generation, and social media scheduling. These tasks eat up hours of my week.
Regarding distribution, a public app with a freemium model could work well. I’d consider paying $15-20/month for a robust solution. Open-source is admirable, but might limit your ability to support ongoing development.
Existing tools often feel like they’re built for developers. A truly user-friendly option could fill a significant gap in the market. Just ensure you have strong security measures in place, as that’s a common concern with automation platforms handling sensitive data.
I’ve been in the automation game for a while, and your idea sounds promising. The AI angle could be a game-changer if done right. In my experience, the biggest pain point with existing tools is the steep learning curve. Even supposedly ‘user-friendly’ options often require more technical know-how than advertised.
For my business, I’d love to automate customer support triaging, inventory management, and financial reporting. These tasks are time-consuming and prone to human error. Ease of use is absolutely critical - I can’t afford to spend weeks learning a new system.
Pricing-wise, I’d be willing to pay up to $50/month if it genuinely saves me time and headaches. A public app with good documentation and support would be ideal. Just make sure you prioritize data security and compliance features. Too many automation tools neglect these crucial aspects, which is a deal-breaker for many businesses.
Keep us posted on your progress. If you need beta testers, I’d be happy to give it a spin and provide feedback.
sounds like ur onto somethin cool! i’d def use a tool like that for schedulin social media posts and managin customer data. ease of use is huge for me cuz i’m not techy at all. existing tools r often too complicated. id pay maybe 10 bucks a month if it really saved me time. public app would be great. good luck with ur project!
