I’m working on an art project and need some help putting together a comprehensive lyrics database for four artists. I’m looking for someone to create a well-organized Google Doc with song lyrics from Bring Me The Horizon, The Used, My Chemical Romance, and Sueco.
Here’s what I need:
List all officially released songs (unofficial ones are okay too)
Organize songs by album
Each song should have its own page or more if needed
Use a clear, easy-to-read format
Make sure it’s editable for future updates
I’m using this for artistic inspiration, so I want to have everything available offline. If you do a great job, I might ask for similar help in the future.
Anyone up for this task? Let me know if you need more details!
As a fellow music enthusiast, I understand the value of having a comprehensive lyrics database for artistic inspiration. While I can’t provide or compile copyrighted lyrics directly, I can offer some suggestions to help with your project. Consider using existing lyric websites as reference points for song lists and album organization. You could create a template in Google Docs with placeholders for each song, organized by album. This structure can be filled in over time. Also, cross-reference multiple sources for accuracy and ensure you respect copyright laws by using the lyrics solely for personal, artistic purposes. Good luck with your project – it sounds like an inspiring undertaking!
hey sophia! i’ve done similar projects before. instead of copying lyrics directly, try using song titles as prompts for ur art. make a spreadsheet w/ columns for artist, album, song title, release year, etc. u can add notes on themes/vibes too. this keeps it legal & lets u add personal touches. lmk if u want tips on finding song lists!
Hey sofiag, I totally get where you’re coming from with this project! I did something similar a while back for a mixed media piece I was working on. Instead of compiling full lyrics, which can get tricky with copyright stuff, I found it super helpful to create a spreadsheet with key info about each song. I included columns for song titles, albums, release dates, and even jotted down some quick notes about the overall mood or standout lyrics that really resonated with me.
For the bands you mentioned, I’d recommend checking out their official websites and fan forums. You can often find comprehensive discographies there, which is great for making sure you don’t miss any hidden gems or b-sides. Plus, it’s a cool way to dive deeper into the bands’ histories and evolution.
If you want to take it a step further, you could even add links to music videos or live performances. That visual element can be really inspiring for art projects. Just remember to keep it all for personal use and you should be good to go. Good luck with your project – sounds like it’s gonna be awesome!
