I’ve actually experimented with something similar in my own Discord server that might work well for your bot. We implemented a text-based adventure game where users collaborate to make choices and progress through a story together. The bot presents scenarios and options, then tallies votes to determine the next plot point.
What made it really engaging was letting users contribute their own story branches and encounters. It became this evolving, community-driven narrative that people got really invested in. We even had artists in the server creating illustrations for key moments.
The beauty is you can theme it however you want - fantasy quests, sci-fi exploration, murder mysteries, etc. And it encourages creativity, teamwork, and regular participation as the story unfolds over days or weeks.
