I was honestly shocked by my Spotify Wrapped this year. My top artist turned out to be a classical composer I’d never heard of before 2023 - Max Richter. Apparently, I spent countless hours with his album ‘Sleep’ playing in the background while working. It’s fascinating how music can seep into our lives without us fully realizing it.
My top genre was neo-classical, which is a far cry from my usual indie rock preferences. I guess this reflects how my listening habits have shifted towards more instrumental, focus-enhancing music as my work demands increased.
The most surprising stat was my total listening time - over 100,000 minutes! I knew I loved music, but that number really puts it into perspective. It’s almost like having a part-time job just listening to tunes.
