I wanted to share my experience as a first-time buyer from Mirotime after doing tons of research. I spent about two weeks reading through forums and guides before deciding what to get. I ended up choosing a ZF Sky Dweller with blue face and jubilee bracelet from Mirotime and I’m really happy with it.
I was concerned the 42mm size might be too big for my wrist since I have larger wrists. After seeing how 40mm watches look on other people in photos, I knew my wrists are definitely bigger than average. Once I got it sized with an extra link, the fit and appearance turned out perfect.
Timeline breakdown:
Ordered and paid: May 15th
Quality check photos: May 17th
Package sent: May 20th
Arrived: May 31st
I thought it would take about a month to arrive before my trip, but everything went smoothly and faster than expected. Big thanks to Jack at Mirotime for getting me started on this new hobby!
congrats on ur first rep! that timeline is pretty solid, mine took like 6 weeks through a different td. how’s the movement holding up so far? been thinking about getting a sky dweller myself but heard mixed things about the gmt function on reps
Solid first purchase experience there. Two weeks of research definitely pays off when diving into reps - wish I had done that much homework before my first order years ago. The ZF Sky Dweller is a smart choice for entry level, their build quality has been consistently good from what I’ve seen. Your timeline is actually quite fast compared to what we’ve been seeing lately. I’ve been working with various TDs for about three years now and Mirotime has always been reliable with their QC process. The jubilee bracelet on the Sky Dweller wears really well once properly sized. One thing to watch for down the line is keeping the gaskets maintained if you plan on any water exposure, though most people treat these as desk pieces anyway.
Nice choice going with ZF for the Sky Dweller. I had a similar experience with Jack at Mirotime last year when I picked up my first piece. The sizing concern you mentioned is really common but sounds like you made the right call. That 11 day turnaround is impressive these days considering shipping delays everywhere. The ZF Sky Dweller has been getting solid reviews lately and the blue dial really pops in person compared to photos. How are you finding the annual calendar function? I remember being surprised at how smooth the month adjustment was on mine when I finally figured out the crown positions properly.
jack’s def one of the better tds for newbies. that blue dial sky dweller looks amazing, good eye! surprised u got it sized right away - usually takes me a couple tries with bracelet adjustments lol. enjoy the watch and welcome to the rabbit hole mate!
