I’ve been considering this lately and I’m curious about what others think. Since using alternate accounts to play against lower-ranked players is now deemed against the rules in many games, should we be reporting streamers who do this while broadcasting? I believe Twitch has regulations regarding streamers who violate the terms of service of the games they are playing. If someone is streaming while using alternate accounts to dominate less experienced players, isn’t that something Twitch would need to be informed about? Has anyone else observed this and what do you think is the best approach?
i get that, but it really varies. if a streamer is clearly using an alt to exploit new players, it feels unfair. on the other hand, if they’re just using it for fun with friends or teaching moments, that’s diff. kinda a grey area, huh?
