Hey everyone, did you hear the news about Spotify? I just found out they’re bumping up their prices again for US users. It’s crazy because this is the second time in a year!
I’m wondering how this will affect different plans. From what I understand, Premium, Duo, and Family subscriptions are all getting more expensive. Has anyone else gotten a notification about this?
I’m kind of worried about how much more we’ll have to pay. Do you think it’s still worth it compared to other music streaming services? Maybe it’s time to shop around for alternatives.

i’m gettin tired of this. spotify’s cool n all, but there’s other options out there. might checkout apple music or deezer. anyone tried those? tbh, i’m not sure if the extra $$ is worth it anymore. maybe its time to jump ship.
As a long-time Spotify user, I’ve seen their prices creep up over the years. While it’s frustrating to pay more, I’ve found the service still offers good value compared to others. The personalized playlists and vast library keep me hooked.
That said, this latest hike might be my tipping point. I’ve been exploring YouTube Music lately and find their algorithm surprisingly good at suggesting new tracks. Plus, the added benefit of ad-free YouTube videos is appealing.
Ultimately, it comes down to individual listening habits. If you’re a power user who relies heavily on Spotify’s features, the increase might be worth swallowing. But for casual listeners, this could be the push needed to explore alternatives.
