Struggling with Spotify modifications not working anymore

I’ve been trying to use modified versions of Spotify for quite some time now, and it used to work perfectly fine. But recently, things have gotten really frustrating. Every time I download a new modified version or apply patches through ReVanced, it only works for maybe 3 or 4 days before it stops functioning properly.

I’m starting to wonder if there are any other alternatives I should consider, or if I should just give up on this approach entirely. Has anyone else been experiencing similar issues lately? What would you recommend as the best course of action at this point?

Had this exact problem for six months before I gave up. Spotify’s pushing silent updates constantly now that specifically target modded clients - they’re way more aggressive about checking auth tokens and app signatures. Even when ReVanced patches quickly, you’re always behind. I tried downgrading APKs but you lose features and hit the same cycle anyway. What really killed it was losing all my offline downloads every time the mod broke. Ended up splitting a family plan with friends - three bucks monthly per person and no more constant fixes. The time saved alone is worth it.

Same headaches here for months. Spotify cranked up their detection big time this year - they’re hitting server-side validation hard and patching anything that looks like a mod. Older versions work better but you lose the new stuff. It’s just endless whack-a-mole between mod devs and Spotify’s anti-mod team. These fixes never last. Honestly? After dealing with this over and over, I just grabbed Premium when it went on sale. Worth it to not constantly troubleshoot and reinstall mods.

Yeah, it’s been awful lately - keeps logging me out every few days and I have to reinstall everything. Spotify definitely stepped up their game against modded apps. Honestly, I just switched to Apple Music student discount instead. Way less hassle than fixing broken mods every week.

Spotify keeps breaking these mods because they’re constantly updating their backend - especially around authentication and API calls. The modified clients just can’t keep up with all the rolling changes anymore. I gave up and switched to using a browser with uBlock Origin instead. No ads, no installation headaches, and it actually works reliably. If you want something more stable, maybe try YouTube Music or Deezer. Honestly, the Spotify mod scene’s gotten too unreliable for daily use.
