I’m thinking about switching our accounting to Xero. We’re already using Hubspot for project management. I’m wondering if anyone knows if these two can work together smoothly.
What I really want to know is:
- Can Xero send invoice info to Hubspot for each project?
- Is it possible to see which invoices are paid and which are still open right in Hubspot?
It would be super helpful if we could keep track of our accounts receivable without switching between apps. Has anyone set this up or know if it’s doable?

As someone who’s been using both Xero and HubSpot for a while now, I can tell you that integrating these two systems is definitely possible and can streamline your workflow significantly. We implemented this setup about a year ago, and it’s been a game-changer for our finance and project management teams.
While there isn’t a native integration between Xero and HubSpot, we use a third-party tool called Zapier to bridge the gap. It allows us to automatically sync invoice data from Xero to HubSpot projects, including payment status updates. This means our project managers can see real-time financial information without leaving HubSpot.
One thing to keep in mind is that setting up the integration requires some initial configuration and testing.
