Trouble with Duplicated Webhook Zaps

Hey everyone!

I’m scratching my head over an issue with webhook Zaps. I’ve got this setup working with FileStage where I use Catch Hook and Get. It’s all good with one Zap, but when I try to copy it (I need more than 3 paths), the copies just won’t work with new data.

Weird thing is, when I test it with sample data, it’s fine. But real data? Nada.

This is driving me nuts because it’s messing up our workflow. We really need this to work so we don’t miss anything important.

Anyone run into something like this before? Any tips or tricks would be awesome. I’m all ears!

Thanks a bunch, folks!

I’ve dealt with this exact headache before, and it’s a real pain. Here’s what worked for me:

First, double-check that each duplicated Zap has its own unique webhook URL. It’s easy to miss, but Zapier generates a new one for each copy. Make sure you’ve updated these in FileStage.

If that doesn’t do the trick, try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Sometimes old data can mess things up.

Another thing to look at is your FileStage settings. There might be a limit on how many webhooks you can have active at once. I had to upgrade my plan to get around this.

Lastly, if all else fails, bite the bullet and recreate the Zaps from scratch. It’s tedious, but it often solves weird issues like this.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you figure it out.

I’ve encountered a similar issue with duplicated webhook Zaps before. In my experience, the problem often lies with the webhook URL. When you duplicate a Zap, Zapier generates a new webhook URL for each copy. Make sure you’re updating the webhook URL in FileStage for each new Zap you create.

Another potential cause could be rate limiting or API restrictions on FileStage’s end. Check if there are any limits on concurrent webhooks or if you need to adjust settings in your FileStage account.

If those don’t solve it, try creating a new Zap from scratch instead of duplicating. Sometimes, this can resolve unexpected behavior. Also, double-check your trigger filters and Zap logic to ensure they’re set up correctly for each path.

Lastly, consider reaching out to Zapier support. They can often provide deeper insights into webhook-related issues and might be able to spot something in your specific setup.

hey mate, i feel ur pain. had similar probs b4. have u checked if filestage has any limits on concurrent webhooks? somtimes they cap it without tellin ya. also, try clearin ur browser cache - sounds dumb but it worked for me once. if nothin else, maybe recreate the zaps from scratch? it sucks but mightfix the issue. good luck!
