Twitch Updates Policy Requiring VTuber Hip Coverage

I just saw the news about Twitch making changes to their content guidelines specifically for virtual streamers. They’re now saying that VTuber avatars need to have their hip areas covered up. This seems like a pretty big shift in their rules.

I’m curious about what this means for current streamers who might need to update their avatar designs. Has anyone else heard about this policy change? I’m wondering if this affects all virtual avatars or just certain types of content.

Also trying to figure out how strict they’re going to be about enforcement. Will existing streamers get warnings first or do they need to change their models right away? This could impact a lot of creators in the VTuber community.

i know right? its crazy how theyre suddenly enforcing this. my friend got that same email too. its gonna put so much pressure on streamers who can’t easily change their avatars. it feels kinda unfair to those who spent a lot on their designs.
