Hey everyone,
I’ve been using this cool bot that can look up info about Telegram users. It’s pretty neat, but I’m kinda confused about something.
When I put in someone’s Telegram ID, the bot sometimes shows me their email and phone number. I’m wondering how it gets this info. Does anyone know where this data comes from?
It’s connected to some Russian forum, I think. But I’m not sure how they’re getting such personal details. Is it pulling from public records or something?
If you’ve used this bot or know anything about how it works, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Just trying to understand the tech behind it.
Thanks for any info you can share!
yo, ive seen those bots too. theyre sketchy af man. pretty sure they just grab info from hacked databases n stuff. telegram doesnt give out that kinda personal data, so its def coming from somewhere else. id be careful using it tbh, could be illegal or inaccurate. just my 2 cents
I’ve worked with data aggregation systems before, and these bots often operate in ethically dubious territory. They typically compile information from multiple sources, including data breaches, public records, and sometimes even illegally obtained databases. The Russian forum connection suggests it might be tapping into less-than-legitimate data sources.
It’s crucial to understand that Telegram doesn’t provide this level of user data to third parties. The bot is likely using external data sources to piece together user profiles. This raises serious privacy concerns and potential legal issues.
From a technical standpoint, these bots usually employ web scraping techniques and API integrations to collect and correlate data. However, the accuracy and legality of such methods are questionable at best. I’d strongly advise against relying on or promoting the use of such services, as they often violate privacy laws and platform policies.
I’ve actually encountered similar bots before, and they can be quite concerning from a privacy standpoint. From what I understand, these bots often scrape data from various sources, including leaked databases, public records, and sometimes even hacked information. The Russian forum connection you mentioned is a red flag - many of these services operate in legal gray areas.
It’s important to note that Telegram itself doesn’t officially provide this level of user data to third parties. So if the bot is showing emails and phone numbers, it’s likely getting that info from external sources, not directly from Telegram.
My advice would be to exercise caution when using such services. They may be violating privacy laws and Terms of Service agreements. Plus, there’s no guarantee the information is accurate or up-to-date. If you’re concerned about your own privacy, regularly check your Telegram security settings and be mindful of what personal info you share online.
