Ways to switch back to old Airtable interface design

I’m really struggling with the latest Airtable interface update and finding it difficult to work with. The new design feels confusing and I can’t seem to navigate as easily as before. Does anyone know if there’s a way to revert to the previous UI version? I’ve been looking through settings but can’t find any option to toggle between interface versions. It would be great if they offered users the ability to choose which interface they prefer. Has anyone found a workaround or setting that allows switching back to the older layout? Any help would be appreciated since this is affecting my productivity.

Nope, no official way to switch back. I hit this same wall when they updated the interface earlier this year.

I bookmarked my most-used views before the update. Old URLs sometimes work for a bit, but they’ll eventually redirect you to the new stuff.

Browser extensions might help - some can modify page layouts. Haven’t tried any with Airtable myself though.

If you’re on a paid plan, hit up your Airtable rep. They might have beta access or heads up on changes coming down the pipe.

Worst case? I’ve seen teams jump to Notion or Google Sheets temporarily while they get used to the new interface.

Nope, Airtable doesn’t let you roll back to older interface versions once they push major updates. I hit the same wall about six months ago when they overhauled the base layout. Spent forever digging through menus and even contacted support - they said rollbacks aren’t possible due to stability issues. What worked for me was tackling one feature at a time instead of trying to relearn everything at once. Their support docs have transition guides that show where they moved the old functions. Took about two weeks to get comfortable, but honestly the new interface has some workflow improvements that weren’t obvious at first.
