Webhook issues after reconnecting Podio account in Zapier

Hey everyone, I need some help with a problem I’m having. I’ve been using Podio to trigger about 20 different Zaps in Zapier for a while now and everything was working fine.

Last week I had to update my Podio password and reconnected my account in Zapier. Ever since then, it looks like there might be some kind of webhook limit that got hit. Some of my automations aren’t firing properly anymore.

Has anyone run into this before? Is there actually a limit on how many webhooks you can have between Podio and Zapier? I’m not sure if this is a Podio thing or a Zapier thing.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I encountered a similar situation a few months ago while updating my API connections. It wasn’t due to hitting a webhook limit; the issue was actually due to lingering webhook registrations that weren’t cleared during the reconnection process. Zapier sometimes ends up creating duplicate webhooks, which can lead to conflicts in your triggers. To resolve this, I disabled all my Zapier Zaps linked to Podio and waited a day before re-enabling them individually. This helps in establishing fresh webhook connections. Additionally, double-check your Podio app settings to ensure there aren’t multiple webhook URLs for the same triggers, as you’ll need to remove those manually.

Same thing happened to me about six months ago when I reset my Podio login. Turns out Podio has this hidden limit of around 50 active webhooks per app. When you reconnect through Zapier, the old webhooks don’t get cleaned up properly - they just sit there eating up your quota while new ones can’t register. I had to dig into each Podio app’s developer settings and manually delete all the dead webhook endpoints. You’ll find this in the app configuration under Podio’s developer section. After cleaning house, I turned my Zaps back on in small batches instead of flipping them all on at once. Took about two days to fix everything, but it’s been rock solid since.

ugh, same thing happened to me! podio’s webhook cleanup sucks when you change passwords. go to your zapier dashboard and turn off all podio zaps. wait about 30 minutes, then turn them back on one at a time. the delay helps zapier register the new webhooks properly without conflicts from ghost ones still lurking around.
